Our owner and founder, Mia Belsky, has dedicated her life to working with children with developmental disabilities and their families. Mia first worked as a state-licensed Special Education teacher, a Special Education Lead Teacher sitting on a diagnostic team, and a Private School Principal. Ultimately, she became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Mia is originally from Montreal and earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from McGill University. After moving to the United States, she earned her Master's Degree in Exceptional Education from the University of Wisconsin, and certification as a School Administrator and Supervisor from John's Hopkins University. She earned her BCBA from Clemson University. Mia is also a Certified Acceptance and Commitment Therapist as well as a Certified Parent Trainer.

Mia's motivation to become a BCBA was her own son. She saw the tremendous impact ABA made on his quality of life, as well as the quality of life of her family. She wanted to help other children and families through the challenges that can come with having a child with unique needs. Mia is dedicated to helping other children achieve remarkable outcomes and supporting their families along the way. She believes that consistently applying the correct intervention strategies with fidelity is crucial to a higher quality of life for our children.
